Owner/Manager: Betty Broadfield.. Betty has been teaching riding since 1983. She is an
accomplished rider herself and has shown extensively in the past. Most horse riding lessons
are given by Betty and she is the author of all the material that is provided with your lesson
packages. Betty attends clinics and world competitions yearly and continues her own
horsemanship education constantly. Betty has attended clinics from ChisCox 5x, Dennis
Reis5x, Char. Wilhemsen, Bob Avila, Kevin McNab2x, Richard Winters2x, John
Lyons,Monty Roberts, Craig Cameron, John Miller DVM, Lynn Palm, Pat Parelli, Several
other Parelli Certified instructors, Buck Brannaman, Kurt Pate, Richard Schrake 4x, etc. We
use here the combination of traditional and natural horsemanship skills to harvest the best
from horses and riders. Currently Betty, and her husband Russell are offering you a safe,
relaxing place to take lessons year round and develop a friendship with the lesson horses as
well as the group that enjoys the beautiful rural setting that defines

The Philosophy of Breezy Bluff
The way we teach our horses and our riders is:
Do what it takes to make the horse do what you want but no more.
Ask as gently as possible but be prepared to get as tough as the horse determines by his
compliance.
We teach verbal cues and ask you to learn to use all your natural aids. Voice, Hands, Seat
and Legs to make the horse and you a team that works together to enjoy the recreation the
Lord has provided for us in this magnificent animal.
